ServerMagic 4.0 helps you protect your network storage while reducing downtime due to server deployment, hardware and software upgrades, or failure. Small to enterprise organizations use ServerMagic 4.0 for NetWare for fast server deployment, day-to-day resource-allocation management, hardware and software upgrades, quick disaster recovery, and migration of server data. Easily copy, move, or delete volumes or partitions. Quickly and easily delete or check the integrity of a remote volume or partition. Maintain Novell Directory Services (NDS) settings: move or copy an entire NetWare system including hidden files and NDS settings without losing a single byte of data. Resize, copy, move, rename, or create partitions and resize volumes without losing data: this includes NetWare, FAT, FAT32, HPFS, Linux ext2, Linux SWAP, or NTFS partitions and NetWare volumes. Server Image, included with ServerMagic 4.0 for NetWare, is designed for NetWare administrators who need to create images of NetWare partitions, including the DOS partition, and store the images on removable media, local network hard drives, or even CD-Rs once the image has first been created on another media. Server Image is able to create compressed image files of DOS and NetWare partitions, greatly reducing the amount of room required to store image files.
